Born here, he was a life resident except for three years he lived at Richmond. He was a home decorator and was married to Verneda Stewart in 1932. He was a member of all Masonic bodies - Clinton Lodge 54, Clinton Chapter 82, Frankfort Council 46 and Frankfort Commandery 29 and Scottish Rite and Shrine.
Surviving with the widow are a son, LeMoyne of Muncie; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Wright of Frankfort; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Beck of Noblesville and Mrs. Marjorie Cory of Oxford, Ohio, and three brothers, LeMoyne of Clarks Hill, Wilbur of Oxford, Ohio, and Morris Campbell of Lawrence.
