Son of Samuel R. and Emma Dunkle Anspaugh.
He graduated from Topeka High School in 1951 and served in the United States Navy from 1952-1956. He married Barbara Wray on June 6, 1958, in Miami, Okla. She survives.
He lived in Topeka before moving to Quenemo in 1968. He worked for Dupont Company and the Flexel Company in Topeka until his retirement as a maintenance mechanic. He was currently working for the Marais des Cygnes Valley Middle School in Quenemo.
He was a member of the Quenemo Baptist Church.
He is also survived by a son, Daniel Anspaugh, Quenemo; a daughter, Cynthia Stoneking, Quenemo; a brother, Paul Anspaugh, St. Marys; four sisters, Wanda Hook, Topeka, Lola Endicott, Edmund, Okla., Helen Mangold, Meriden, and Thelma Jager, Mayetta; and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by five brothers, Lloyd, Dean, Dale, Ray and Wayne Anspaugh.
