Roy Lee Adams, 67, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away March 17, 2012 at the hospital in McAlester. He was born on August 12, 1944 to the late Cecil Leroy Adams and Thelma Thomas Adams in Anson, Texas. Roy was raised in Levelland, Texas and later he moved to Dallas. He lived in several places in New Mexico and Oklahoma before moving to McAlester in 1995. Roy married Deborah Everett on November 7, 1970 in Kaufman, Texas. He worked as a backhoe operator for the City of Dallas and later in the oil field in New Mexico. He has been disabled since 1987. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and raising raccoons.
