Funeral services for Robert L. White, 84, former Magnolia Refinery employee and Hardin County farmer, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Broussard Mortuary Chapel. Billy Harris, pastor of the Kountze Church of Christ, assisted by John Young, pastor of South Park Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. White died about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Fondren Nursing Home. For the last 10 years Mr. White had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. W.M. Wilson, 525 Woodrow Ave. A native of Fayette County, Tex., he worked for Magnolia for 25 years before retiring. He is survived by another daughter, Mrs. M.H. Collins of Beaumont; a son, Ollie Leonard White of Kountze; two brothers, Chap White of Houston and Pet White of Smithville; two sisters, Mrs. Nona Byerly of Oil City, La., and Mrs. Eula Hatfield of West Point, Tex.; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
