She was united in marriage to Carson David Denton. She was blessed with 6 children, Donald, Deborah, Pamela, Kathy, Dennis, and Tena.
As a young child she attended Black Pond School. During her younger years she attended the Alley Springs Church of God of Prophecy, later attending Eminence Church of God of Prophecy.
She loved visiting with her extended family. She loved flowers and could be found tending to them in her yard or at home quilting one of her many quilts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Gertrude Ipock, her husbands, Curtis Roland, Carson David Denton, Leonard Wilkins, and Charley Payne, her stillborn twin daughters, 2 brothers, Virgil and Clifford Ipock, grandson David Pulliam and son-in-law Terry Pulliam, and great daughter Whitney Bales.
She is survived by her children, Donald Roland and wife Ester of Summersville, Deborah Ipock and husband Ronnie of Eminence, Pamela Clemons and husband Leonard of Eminence, Kathy Walker and husband Dennis of Eminence, Dennis Denton and wife Adina of Summersville, and Tena Pulliam of Birch Tree, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and host of great great grandchildren, one brother Bill Ipock and wife Francis of Birch Tree, one sister Patsy Dyer of Summersville, and a host of family and friends.
