Son of Delbert Walker and Cynthia Elizbaeth Park

Perry married Venus Clark on September 26, 1918.

They have 2 children.

Perry Lorenzo Walker was one of the thirteen children was born to Delbert and Cynthia Park Walker, good Latter-day Saint parents. Perry was the fifth chld of eight boys and 3 girls. He was born Feb. 5, 1900 and was baptized June 5, 1909 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. His father built a brick house, onthe State Road across from William R. Hones. There Delbert Walker and his wife set up housekeeping and there they raised their family. Their children were always sent to Sunday School and Primary. They were taught to work at anything there was to do. Perry's father was a good farmer and with the help of his boys, was a successful man. Perry was a good natured boy and often helped his mother with the small chldren and housework.

He attended school in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School at the age of 18. He married Venus Clark om Sept. 26, 1918. They lived in different places around Pleasant Grove. He loved to figure and so kept the books for the farm produce; he kept an account of all the beets raised on each plot of ground and how much was received per ton..

When the farm was done, he hauled cedar posts from the other side of Utah Lake. On the 18th of May, 1920 their first child was born--a little boy. He was given the name of Virgil C. When he was 18 months old, a chance came to Perry, to go to Kamas, Idaho, to farm and care for James H. Walker's large dry farm. They packed up a few things and hurried away. They worked there two summers and one winter. The winter was bad but fun. All toghether it was an interesting experience.

They returned to Utah and bought 20 acres of farm fround from his father, Delbert Walker, down on the road to the Steel Plant. It was a happy time when a small house was built and they had a home they could call their own.

On July 3, 1924, the Lord blessed them with a lovely baby girl. They named her Lona.

In the fall of 1927 Perry went to Idaho to pick up potatoes for Lewis Eaton. When he retunred he was not well, and slowly became worse, until Feb. 16, 1928, he passed away, a very young man.

His wife turned the farm back to Delbert Walker and moved to Pleasant Grove. There the children lived with their mother until they were married.
