Carlee Williams was born February 20, 1933 in Osceola, Mississippi County, Arkansas to Mozell Hunt and Bill Williams, Jr.
Her family relocated to Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan in the 1940's where she remained a life long resident.
She was united in matrimony to the late Price Adams, Jr. and born to this union were two daughters and one son (Gloria, Carolyn and Joe Lee).
She was later united in matrimony to William "Boy Blue" Brown.
She was a long time employee of the former W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital where she retired after more than 30 years of service.
Carlee was also a long time member in the New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where she served in many capacities throughout the years.
Carlee enjoyed the simple things of life: her large family and the gatherings, the fellowship of her friends, reading, watching movies, computer games, and her story, "The Young and the Restless".
She loved the outdoors and fishing was her favorite activity.
Often quick-whitted, she enjoyed laughter and light-hearted moments.
She was the Matriarch of the Williams and Harris Families.
She is survived by her husband, William ("Boy Blue") Brown; two daughters: Gloria J. Watson Mathena and Carolyn Moss and one son, Joe Lee Adams all of Jackson, MI.; seven grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. Five sisters, Delores Harris Whetstone, Candy (husband, Cliff) Hollis, Annie Pearl Harris Osborne, Rosalee Harris Thornton and Gwendolyn D. Harris Pryor, all of Jackson, MI.; two brothers, Otis Jerome Harris of Jackson, MI and Robert Harris of Lansing, MI. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the Southside Baptist Church in Jackson, MI. Rev. Bennie Gibson officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to The House of Johnson Funeral Home, Jackson, MI.

Per her request she was cremated and is in the hands of her loving family.
