Rev. Brady Emerson McCullough Sr. graduated into Eternity on March 17, 2012. Born July 17, 1923, in Cleveland. He was preceded in death by spouse, Virginia Coston McCullough; father, John Hershall McCullough; mother Rozie Mae Tidwell McCullough; brother Elly LeRoy McCullough; and sister Nelda Beasley Gardner. He was educated in the Blount County School System and as a Pastor in the United Methodist Church graduated from the Five-Year Course of Study from Candler School of Theology, Atlanta. Brady was involved for 60 plus years in the Masonic Lodge, his accomplishments include 32nd Degree Mason, present membership at Rising Sun Lodge No. 29, Decatur Ala., Past Master, Nunn-Oden Lodge No. 398; Past Master, Arrites Oden Lodge No. 396; Past President of the Northwest Alabama Proficiency Club; served the Alabama Grand Lodge as Past Grand Chaplain three years, and Past Grand Orator one year. He was a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church from 1982 until retirement in 1993; he continued to serve as retired pastor until 2012. The churches he has served include Bethel, Atmore, Ala.; Antioch, Somerville, Ala.; West End, Hartselle, Ala.; Old Bethel, Courtland, Ala.; Old Bethel Church, Courtland, Ala. Masonic Graveside Service and Burial Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Oneonta, Alabama.
