Mrs. Hiram H. Minnich, seventy-seven, died this morning at her home near Lititz, of a complication of diseases after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, the following children: Mrs. Phares Graybill, Hellam; Mrs. Christ Bollinger, Middle Creek; Mrs. Adam Fahnestock, Brunnerville; Mrs. Walter Swords, Columbia; Mrs. Allan Heagy, Penryn, Mrs. Ella Rohrer, at home, and Homer Minnich, Lititz; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Chester Minnich; the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Dietrich, Columbia; Mrs. Joseph Murphy, Philadelphia; Mrs. Edward James, Philadelphia; Clinton Rohrer, Manheim; Christ Rohrer, Sporting Hill; David Rohrer, Pekin, Ill.; Frank Rohrer, Dayton, Ohio; Herman Rohrer, Lebanon; Paris Rohrer, East Petersburg; Phares Rohrer, Manheim; also twenty-nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at the home at 1:30 o'clock on Thursday afternoon, followed by services at 2 o'clock at Longenecker's Meeting House, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

~According to Mennonite vital records, Susan is a daughter of John K. Rohrer and Catherine Heistand. John K. Rohrer married Catherine in June 1851. Catherine died in February 1856. John married Mary, sister of Catherine, in March 1857.
~Susan is listed as a step-daughter of Mary Heistand, wife of John K. Rohrer, in Mary's obituary.
~Susan's death certificate lists her death as 17 March 1856; and Mary is listed as Susan's mother.
~It has been suggested that the stone carving is in error; that Susan was born March 17, 1854.
