Harold J. Cooper, 87, formerly of Calcium, died Monday at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, where he had resided since Jan. 10, 2007.
Mr. Cooper worked at Madison Barracks, Sackets Harbor, and the former Pine Camp, now Fort Drum. In the early 1940s, he went to work at the Agricultural Insurance Co. in Watertown and in 1976 became an accounting manager for New York Casualty, retiring in 1982.
