Second Husband Henry S. Wilkins

Mrs. Nancy Wilkins, a lifelong resident of the Clever community, passed away Tuesday night at the nursing home of Mrs. Bertha Griffith on North Main Street in this city, where she had been a patient for several weeks. Death was due to general infirmities of advance age. She was 85 years old last March 29. Mrs. Wilkins had been a faithful member of the Clever Christian Church for many years and was one of Clever's most highly esteemed residents, representing one of its earliest pioneer families. She is survived by two daughters and a son, Mrs. Clayborn Thomas of rural Billings, Mrs. Tylor McNabb of Fresno, Calif., and Elmer Payne of Marionville; a brother, Nathan Slay of Marionville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services are being conducted in the Christian Church at Clever this afternoon by the Rev. Frank West of Springfield with the pastor, Rev. Musgraves, assisting. Interment will be in Wise Hill Cemetery. Due to ill health the daughter in California was unable to come to her mother's funeral.
