Albert M. "Chris" Hunsaker, 70, of Rt. 1, Yale, died at 12:10 a.m. Friday, April 21, 1989 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Casey Cumberland Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Graveside military rites were conducted by the Casey VFW Post 5762. Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, was in charge of arrangements.

He was born March 12, 1919 in Yale to Albert and Mary Clark Hunsaker. He was married March 9, 1955 to Virginia Powell.

He was a retired farmer, a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Christian Church of Covington, Ind. He was a businessman in Casey for 15 years, a former owner of the KZ Newstand for 10 years, and the Davis Cafe for five years. He was a former state policeman.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia; sons, Gary and Steve, both of Yale; sisters, Thelma Trigg of Casey, Hazel Armbrust of Columbus, Ohio, and Ruth Sutherland of West Milton, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, a son, and a daughter.
