Deceased Name: Richard G. Martin Served in U.S. Navy during World War II
Richard G. Martin, 77, a resident of the Pennsylvania Soldiers' & Sailors' Home, died Monday, April 26, 2004.
He was born May 30, 1926, in Albion, son of the late Fenton McCray Martin and Minerva First Martin.
He worked for the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include three sisters, Marjorie Bish and Florine Fortney and her husband, Hugh, all of Albion, and Ruth Ann Wykoff of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Pennsylvania Soldiers' & Sailors' Home Chapel, 560 E. Third St. A service will follow, officiated by the Rev. Tim Armstrong.
Burial will be private at Hope Cemetery, Wellsburg.
Arrangements are being handled by the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home, 2101 Ash St.
