Husband of the late Allie Gaye Fanning; father of Sharon Anne Fanning and Sean Thomas Fanning; brother of Thomas and Raymond Fanning, Kathleen Farnsworth, Eileen Aukward, Teresa Jackson, Rosalie Gresh and the late Mary Woodward and Annie West; grandfather of Shane and Brian Fanning. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, June 23 at Little Sisters of the Poor, Washington, DC. Interment was held at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 4200 Harewood Rd., NE, Washington, DC 20017.
