Paul Wayman Dies, Rites Set Tuesday

Paul "Bud" Wayman, 77, formerly of Brownstown, recently of the Jackson Park Convalescent Center in Seymour, died unexpectedly at 3:07 a.m. Sunday at the Jackson County Schneck Memorial Hospital.

A lifetime Jackson County resident, he was employed for several years at the Morgan Packing Company plant at Brownstown.

He was a member of the Brownstown Baptist Church.

Born April 2, 1900, in Brownstown, he was the son of the late Charles and Ida Vanover Wayman.

Survivors include five nephews, Kenneth Wayman, of Great Falls, MT; Richard Wayman of Crown Point, IN; Edmond Wayman, Robert Wayman and Joe Wayman, all of Brownstown.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown with the Rev. Robert Riggs, pastor of the Brownstown United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemtery in Brownstown.

Friends may call at any time today at the Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home.
