York Mary E. Mundis of York died at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at her residence. She was 81.
Mrs. Mundis retired from A&P Co. as a cashier after 22 years of employment.
She was a member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ.
Born in Palmyra, Lebanon County, April 17, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Alvin S. and Jennie M. Hess Ream. She was the wife of the late Ray S. Mundis.
She leaves three daughters, Mary J. Valenti, Judy R. Barnes and Bette L. Bowman, all of York; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister, Esther Swanner of Fairfield, Ohio; and a brother, George Ream of York.
A daughter, Patricia E. Mundis, is deceased.
Viewing is 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St. The service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Christopher Anderson officiating.
Burial is in Mount Rose Cemetery.
