"Funeral services [were held] Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Chapel of Memorial Park with internment follow[ing] in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Robby Ledford and Katie Glover officiate[d].
"Mr. Buffington was born on November 24, 1934 in Hall County to the late Smith Buffington and Georgia Wilson Buffington. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Untied States Navy for 4 years, and retired from Reliance Electric after 24 years of service. Mr. Buffington was preceded in death by his parents, Smith and Georgia Buffington, sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Otis Williams.
