Doris Ruth Nethery, 78, of Mt. Eden, KY passed away Friday March 16, 2012 at Crestview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Shelbyville.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
Preceded in death by: husband, Cecil Nethery and five sisters.
Survivors include: daughters, Susanne Smitha (Ronnie), Dana Rollins (Jim); son, Brad Nethery (Jennifer) all of Mt. Eden, KY; granddaughter, Rachel Nethery; grandsons, Seth Nethery and Andrew Goodlett; special grandchildren, Brook Drury and Brittany Stevens; sisters, Juanita Ruble and Janis Cox of Anderson Co., KY, Leah Rose Collins, Wilmington, NC and a very special friend, Janis Buntain.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday March 19, 2012 at the Pleasant hill Christian Church in Mt. Eden with Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Best Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. on Sunday March 18, 2012 at Shannon Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
