Nancy P. Pegan, 82 years, of South Bethany, DE, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Lewes, DE.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Nancy was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Dougherty) Nennstiehl. She was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond Pegan in 1971, a love she never forgot. She is survived by her daughter; Kathleen Jankowski of South Bethany, DE, and her brother; George Nennstiehl and his wife Kit of Pocono Lake, PA.

Nancy was an office coordinator with the University of Delaware, where she retired after working 35 years for the State of Delaware. She was a long-time member of St. John-Holy Angels Parish. Nancy loved her pet dogs, her family and friends, Reba, traveling, parties, amusement parks, shopping and manhattans.

Funeral Services will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15 at 11 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek, where family and friends may visit from 10 to 11 am.

Burial will follow in the All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Delaware Hospice, 3513 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
