Joe Hall 84, native of Washington County, died Friday, August 21, 1959, in Carter's Rest Home at New Haven of Infirmities of age.

His wife, Mrs. Belle Green Hall, died Sunday, August 23, 1959, at the same rest home, her death being attributed to senility. They had been married 60 years.

Mr. Hall was a son of Frank and Nettie Richardson Hall and was born, reared and spent his entire life in this county.

Mrs. Hall was a daughter of Mason and Mary Ritchie Green and was born October 23, 1973, in this county. They had made their home in Nelson County many years.

Surviving Mr. and Mrs. Hall are two sons Frank Hall, Cox's Creek, and Henry Hall, Louisville; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Hugh Hall of Springfield is a brother of Mr. Hall and Landon Green is a brother of Mrs. Hall.

Funeral services for Mr. Hall were conducted at the Mann & Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, The Rev. J.T. Burdone, pastor Bardstown Baptist Church, of which Mr. Hall was a member, officiating.

The funeral for Mrs. Hall was conducted at St. Gregory Catholic Church at Samuels Wednesday morning, August 26, Interment was in the church cemetery there.
