Ruth Eve Fenack passed away peacefully with her beloved son, Wayne, at her side on March 22, 2011. Ruth was born and raised in Snook, Texas. She was one of five children born to the late Henry and Vlasta Macik Blaha. She was the beloved wife of Tony Fenack, Jr. for over 50 years. Ruth was a homemaker and traveled with Tony as they ran their racehorses in Texas and New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband and also a brother, Charles Blaha, sisters, Bessie Krenek and Doris Blaha. She will be forever remembered by those she leaves behind; her son, Wayne Fenack (Ida), granddaughter At Fenack Hammond (Brent), grandsons Andrew and Josh Fenack, loving sisters Elizabeth Lednicky and Evelyn Beckner, beloved nieces and nephews, Donna Alsup, Marsha Jones, Pamela Hammel, Joyce Kettler, Edward & Charles Krenek, Linda Evans, Doris Lednicky, Bobby & Warren Howell. Ruth also leaves 3 treasured great grandchildren; Braden, Jayme, & Connor Hammond, along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside memorial service on Friday March 25, 2011, at 1 PM at Memory Gardens of the Valley, Santa Teresa, NM where Ruth will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Tony Fenack Jr. The family request all donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to the American Heart Association.
