Larry L. McIntosh, 64, of Moores Hill, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at home. He was born June 6, 1944, in Batesville, the son of Archie and Mary (Powell) McIntosh. He married Paula Meyer McIntosh on July 31, 1987 and she survives.
Other survivors include sons: Jerry McIntosh of New Albany, Richard McIntosh of Osgood, and Daniel McIntosh of Milan; daughters: Sharon Cooey and Leanne Holt, both of Westfield; father, Archie and stepmother Aileen McIntosh of Versailles; brother: Mike McIntosh of Greensburg; and sisters: Linda Schmidt of Moores Hill and Patty Barnes of Greensburg.
Mr. McIntosh was a member of Moores Hill United Methodist Church, Sons of American Legion, and a past member of Moores Hill Fire and EMS. He was a former employee of Aurora Casket Company.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 10 at Moores Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Damon Soper and Rev. Carl Martin officiating. Memorials may be given to Dearborn County Yes Home, Walter and Anna Sibbett Scholarship Fund, Dearborn County Hospice. Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill was in charge of arrangements.
