Minnie Cook, 84, of 307 W. Eighth St., Sycamore, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 6, 1914, in Whitesburg, Ky., Letcher County, to the late George H. and Melissa Ison. She married Leslie Cook in Whitesburg.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. George (Mallie) Harper of rural Sycamore; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Reese and Thomas Ison of St. Paris and Republic, respectively; and a sister, Evelyn Cook of Tiffin.
Her husband, a daughter, Martha J. (Cook) Myers, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cook had resided in Sycamore for 27 years, having lived previously in McCutchenville. She was a homemaker and member of the Christian faith.
Pastor Frank Tyree of the United Methodist Church, Sycamore, will preside at the funeral at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, is the place of burial.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour before the service Monday at Turner-Engle Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County.
