Death Very Sudden:

Beauregard Thomas Jefferson Boyer dropped dead at his home nine miles southeast of the city, near Crane, Saturday at 8:15 a.m. He was well known in this city, having lived here for three years and worked for the street car company in the capacity of motorman during that time. Mr. Boyer had not been feeling well since Friday afternoon and on Saturday morning while making arrangements to come to the city he was taken ill, and going into the house sat down and died in a few minutes. Coroner Van Reed was called and pronounced death due to organic heart trouble. Mr. Boyer was 51 years old, born in Rockingham County, VA, and came to this city twelve years ago to take charge of the Crabbe-Reynolds-Taylor elevator at Crane. Three years ago he came to this city and accepted a position with the street car company. He lived at 1611 Grove Street. One month ago he moved to the DeHart farm, where his death occurred. He was a member of the Methodist church of Dayton, a Mason and a member of the K. of P. Mr. Boyer was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Besides his widow one daughter, Frances survives, and he also leaves the following brothers and sisters: S.H.P. Boyer of this city, Jospeh of near Linden; N.W.J. Boyer of Mt. Sidney. VA. and Mrs. William Hudlow of Stockwell. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with interment in the Fink Cemetery.
