FORT ATKINSON-Mrs. Raymond Alvarez. 81, Johnson Creek, died at 3 a.m. today in the Jefferson County Hospital after a two-year illness. The former Lydia Baumann was born in Dane County June 3, 1883, the daughter of Herman and Lizzie Baars Baumann. She married Paul Streich April 6, 1904, and he died in 1931. She was married to Raymond Alvarez Jan. 6, 1951, and he predeceased her in 1954. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Farmington and a charter member of its Ladies Aid. Surviving are a brother, Edward B. Baumann, Jefferson; a stepson, Donald Alvarez, Los Angeles, Calif.; neices and nephews. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery.
