Kentucky New Era obit posted 10/14/1989 reads as follows:

Jerry O. Crenshaw, 47, of 106 Leslie Court, died at 4:45am today at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a short illness.

Services will be at 10am Monday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Kirby officiating and burial in Green Hill Memorial Garden.

Visitation will begin at 2pm Sunday at the funeral home.

A native of Detroit, Mich., he was born Nov. 29, 1941, son of Ernest "Rugin" and Anna Mae Grace Crenshaw, Christian County. A produce clerk at Kroger, he was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Hazel Wells Crenshaw; a daughter, Jerri Annette Crenshaw, of the home; and a brother, Randy Crenshaw, Nashville, Tenn.
