Our beloved wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bette Clara Dunlavy Millar, 67, of Lindon, died July 8, 1993 at the St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City.

She was born October 28, 1925 in Tooele, Utah to Harvey Howard and Clara P. Caffey Dunlavy. She married Leland Samuel Millar May 21, 1944 in Tooele, Utah; the marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.She was a member of the LDS Church living in the Lindon 8th Ward. She had served as softball coach, ward librarian and as a visiting teacher for many years.

She spent her childhood days in Tooele, graduating from Bingham High School. Following her marriage, she moved to Lindon and has resided there since. She had a special love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She had been employed at Deseret Industries, Murray, for the past several years.

She is survived by her husband, Lindon; seven grandchildren, Wade Alan Millar, American Fork; Jamie Shawn Millar and Desty Cole Cobbley of Pleasant Grove; Richard LeRoy White, Lindon; Tammy Ann Jenkins, Monica Dawn Hardy, and Brenda Ann Bird, all of Orem; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Dunlavy and Howard Dunlavy, of Tooele; a son-in-law, Bill Bird, and daughter-in-law, Lynda Millar. She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Leland Samuel Millar, Jr.; Pauline Millar Bird, Susan Millar White, a step grandson, Jerry Floyd Jenkins, and a sister, Pauline Dunlavy Kirk.
