Mary H. Rhoades was married to Asa Morse 24 Nov 1774 in Walpole, Massachusetts. This was Mary's second marriage, her first husband, Steven Rhoades died fairly young leaving Mary and several children. Mary and Asa were parents of seven, one who died young, and Daniel, Thankful (Walker), Elizabeth (Paine), Asa, Jr., Mary and Hannah.

Death Notice: In Belchertown, Oct 3, Mrs. Asa Morse, in the 100th year of her age; She was born in Walpole, in May 1744. She was the mother of seven children six of whom are living. She had 62 grandchildren, 41 living; 144 Great grandchildren, 139, living and 10 great, great grandchildren, 9 living.

This notice appeared also in the Boston Evening Transcript and included mention of "Aaron Rhoades, 79, death Oct 26, 1843, son of Mrs. Morse."
