Services for Mrs. Betzel E. Hill, 100 of Rayville, LA, will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Cedar Baptist Church in Archibald, LA with Rev. Billy Roy Snider officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in Archibald under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Hill was born November 25, 1911 in Start, LA to Horace and Florence Jones Eppinette. She was a member of Cedar Baptist Church and an LPN for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son-Winston Hill, grandson-Rodney Earl Gable, sisters-Myrtlene Eppinette Grant and Frances Eppinette Fisher, and brothers-Herbert Eppinette and Leamon Eppinette.
She is survived by a sister-Katherine Booth of Archibald; brother-Hans Eppinette and wife Betty of Galena, MO; sister-in-law-Jewel Eppinette White of Monroe; daughter-Frances Earl Sims and husband Tom of Baton Rouge; grandson-Elbert Earl Hill of Archibald; Granddaughter Tina Hill of Calhoun; grandsons-Rhett Gable and wife Melanie and Winston Gable and wife Chelsy both of Archibald; granddaughter-in-law and caretaker Wanda Gable Hillis; great grandsons-Corey Gable and Seth Gable; great granddaughters-Hannah Gable, Lauren Gable, Chloe Gable, Graci Gable, Christy Hill Trim and husband Tommy of Marion, LA, Jessica Hill; great great grandchildren-Jacob West, Noah Trim, and Luke Trim; and a host of nieces and nephews.
