Alice Johnson, 82, of Corning, Ark., died Thursday at her home.

Mrs. Johnson was was retired, having worked at Carter Carburetor and Johansen Shoe Company. She was affiliated with First General Baptist Church in Corning.

On Oct. 17, 1935, she married Roy Johnson. He died Sept. 29, 1991.

Surviving are three sons, Rudolph Johnson and Aubrey Johnson, both of Corning, and Clesten Johnson of Dexter; three sisters, Lola Cannon of Decatur, Texas, Winfred Traw of Chaffee and Katherine Riggs of Corning; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is set from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. A funeral is scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel with the Revs. Don Robertson and Billy Snow officiating. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
