Jeanie F. Brown: 101, of Gray, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Plentitude Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Reverend Tommy Freeman will officiate.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry C. Brown; son, Kenneth R. Brown; and daughter, Martha B. Sims. Mrs. Brown lived in Jones County for the past 40 years, and was a member of the Plentitude Baptist Church in Jones County. Music was her passion and joy. She enjoyed an audience but never needed one. She played for her own enjoyment and comfort. A true artist, she wrote poems on scrap paper, church bulletins, napkins, and such. She wrote in the middle of the night when awakened by a dream or during the day when thoughts would come. She loved growing flowers and was always ready with her fishing pole. A gracious and loving lady, she lived her life in service of others. Her faith in her Lord was constant and always guided her steps.

She is survived by her grandchildren, R. Stephen (Dorothy) Sims, Susan S. (Stewart) Gordon, B. Clinton Sims, P. Matthew (JoAnne) Sims. Eight great Grandchildren, Four great great Grandchildren.
