Private in Co. B, 10th South Carolina Infantry.
Captured near Jonesboro-Rough and Ready, GA, on Sept. 2, 1864. Died of Chronic Diarrhea in 2nd-3rd Ward GA Hospital, outside of Augusta, GA.

Wife was Winny Chestnut (1833-1870), they had 6 children on the 1860 census; Ethel age 11f, Mary A. age 9f, Robert age 7m, Cornelius age 5f, William P age 3m, and Melvina age 1f.

His father and mother are: John S. Lee, Sr (1792-1883) & Nancy Hardee (ca 1795-1845).
Brothers & sisters of Noah: John S. Jr, Willis (CSA), Daniel, Wini, Sarah Jane, and Linsann.
