Funeral services for J. Dunbar Daniels, 64. of RFD 4, Aiken, who died at his residence Saturday following a brief illness, were held today at p.m. at George Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Carl Hayes officiating.
Burial was in Bethany Cemetery.
Mr. Daniels was a native Aiken County. He was a retired law enforcement officer with both the City of Aiken Police Department and the Aiken County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Daniels was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World II.
Among those surviving are two brothers, Charles C. Daniels of Aiken, Joe M. Daniels, Richmond Hill, Ga.
Pallbearers were Asbill Hutto, James Richardson, Odell Weeks, Roy Lyons, Dr. H.D. Wyman, and Arthur Day.
