John J Frahm, 81, Richwoods Terrace Nursing Home, formerly of 2737 W Trewyn died Saturday. He was employed in the kitchen at Methodist Medical Center 20 years. He was born October 12, 1896 in Lilly to Jacob & Sarah Durr Frahm. Survivors; four sisters, Mrs. Freida Rueter, Mrs. Mary Simmons, Peoria, Mrs. Leta Hill Spring Bay, Mrs. Katie Miller Chicago; a brother, Fred, East Peoria. Visitation 7 to 9 tonight Wilton Mortuary. Services 10 a.m. tomorrow at the mortuary. Burial Glendale Cemetery, Washington. "Uncle John" as everybody called him was the brother of Elizabeth K. Frahm Reinholdt. Uncle John was always a happy sort of guy who never married because he was honest. He liked his liquor and "wouldn't put a woman through that!" Uncle John also liked his pipe. I remember him fondly because of his attitude and the constant pipe he always clenched in his teeth. God bless you Uncle John. I miss the happiness you always brought wherever you went.
