Aged Man Drops Dead At Home
George Reeder, Milo resident, was found dead in his yard by Mrs. Reeder Friday morning. Mr. Reeder had been mowing the lawn, and the wife was not aware that anything was wrong until she went out into the yard.

The Reeders had been residents of the Milo neighborhood for several years. The had just returned from a visit with relatives at Rochester, but a day or two.

George Lewis Reeder was the son of William and Betsey Reeder, and was born in Rigdon, Indiana, on February 21, 1866. He departed this life at his late home in Huntington County on September 9, 1938, at the age of 72 years, six months and 17 days.

In the year 1886 he was united in marriage to Clarinda (Knox) Perry. Shortly after the marriage they became members of the Dunkard Church of Summitville. The greater part of his life was spent in and around Rigdon.

Surviving are the widow; a brother, Hal, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two brothers have preceded him in death. Several nephews surviving are the Hodge brothers, residing in this township.

Funeral services were held at Knox Chapel on Monday afternoon. Burial was made in the Knox Chapel cemetery.
