SYLVANIA,Ga.-Mrs.Sallie Jo Altman,81,of Sylvania,died Thursday morning in a Sylvania nursing home.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Jarrell Funeral Home,Sylvania,with the Charles Culbreath officiating,assisted by the Rev.Edwin L. Douglas.Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was a native of Burke County and a member of the First Untied Methodist Church,Sylvania.
Survivors include one son,Otis B. Altman,Sylvania: two daughters, Mrs Mary A. Franklin,Statesboro,Ga.,Mrs Angie Black, Sylvania; and two sisters,Mrs.Lila Allen, Ridgeland,SC.,and Mrs.Ione McQuage, Jacksonville,Fla.
Pallbearers will include G.F.Heartsfield,James H.Smith,Harry McElveen, Dr.Tom Tebeau, Weldon Black and Bob Pinckney.
