Mr. Marvin Carlile, of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Monday, March 12, in a Fort Smith hospital. Mr. Carlile was 70 years old.
Marvin was a retired employee of the Fort Smith Public School Maintenance Department. he was also a United States veteran of the Army, where he served in Vietnam Conflict.
Mr. Carlile was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife: Janice Carlile; 1 son: Samuel Carlile; 3 daughters: Linda Williams, Brenda Wiley; and Melissa Thomas; 1 sister: Margie Venable; 8 grandchildren; 1 precious great-grandchild; other relatives and a host of good friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, 03/15/2012, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Mr. Carlile was laid to rest at the United States National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Keith snow, Brandon Cusick, Shawn Wood, John Milam, Tom McMellon, Robert Woodhull, and Bryan Blyth.
