Jason Philip Wolff, 30, of Grand Meadow, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 5, 2012, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Jason was born Jan. 12, 1982, in Rochester, the son of Bradley and Theresa (King) Wolff. He lived in the Grand Meadow area his entire life and loved the small-town lifestyle. He graduated from GMHS in 2000. He was actively involved in his community and served proudly on both the Grand Meadow City Council and the fire department. He was employed by CHS elevator in Grand Meadow.

"Wolffy" was one-of-a-kind. He holds a special place in the hearts of his family and friends. He was very curious and adventurous. He enjoyed taking road trips and visiting other small towns. His interests included road construction projects and railroads.

He is survived by his parents, Bradley and Theresa Wolff also of Grand Meadow; a sister, Lisa (Bret) Klaehn of Chatfield; a nephew, Collin; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marie and Philip King of McIntire, Iowa, and his paternal grandparents, Delores and Gordon Wolff of Adams.

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, March 7, at St. Finbarr Catholic Church of Grand Meadow, with a prayer service starting at 4 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at St. Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Father Steve Peterson will be officiating, with interment at St. Finbarr Catholic Cemetery.
