A devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend, Larry leaves behind seven loving children: Alida Schouest and her husband, Phillip, of Westwego, Talbert Dupre and his wife, Pearl, also of Westwego, Donald Dupre of New Orleans, Jennifer McDaniel and her husband, Danny, of Ville Platte, Billy Dupre and his wife, Shelia, of Opelousas, Robert Dupre and his wife, Terri, of Marrero and Tammy Dupre and her husband, James, of Lafitte. He is also survived by one brother, Gus Dupre and his wife, Madeline, of Opelousas and two sisters, Jackie Fontenot and her husband, Urel, of Ville Platte and Bernita Parks and her husband, George, of Opelousas. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; they were the light of his life.
He now joins in Heaven his beloved wife, Marie Woodson Dupre and one brother, Charles Dupre; they await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
