CONRAD, Arnold J. age 85 of Fairfield died Monday, September 14, 2009 at his residence. He was born on June 24, 1924, the son of Louis and Anna (Staarman) Conrad, and was a 1942 graduate of Fairfield High School. Arnold was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He was a lifelong farmer in Fairfield with his brother, Stanley Conrad on their family farm.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Hyde; two sisters, Evelyn Miller, Alberta Groh; sister-in-law, Bernice Conrad.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Friday in Sacred Heart Church with Father Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
