Clyde was born on July 19, 1916 in Bolton, N.C., to the late I.P. and Maggie Noble. On Nov. 9, 1937, in Marion S.C., he married Bessie Mae Best, who preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 1999.
He is survived by two daughters, Jan (Walter) Breske of South Bend, Ind., and Jean Leake of Niles; a son, Jack Noble of Marquette, Mi; and by 11 grandchildren, David Breske, Julie (Mark) Rokop, Dawn Stratton, Tye (Susan) Stratton, Scott (Penny) Stratton, and Michael Leake, Nate (Kathy) Noble, Jacquit (Bruce) Doyon, Kerry (Mary) Noble, Jessica Noble, John Noble; and by 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Clyde retired from Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150. He was a member of Huntly Memorial Baptist Church and the Niles Masonic Temple Lodge #4 F&A.M.
Our Dad was a great husband and father and will be very much missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed camping and fishing. Clyde and Bessie spent many winters in Florida which they loved very much. Clyde never met a stranger; everyone was his friend.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. (Michigan time) today, July 10, in Pifer-Smith Funeral Home, Niles. Services will be held at 11 a.m. (Michigan time) on Wednesday, July 11, in the funeral home. Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions may be made the The American Heart Association.
