Edith M. Scholl age 93 of the Springersville Community passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at the Lincoln Centers. She was born October 30, 1917 in Rushville one of seven children of the late Cecil and Lillian Catlin. She is a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and taking care of her flowers. She is survived by a daughter Betty J. Harmon, South Bend, IN; three sons and daughters in law, Lewis & Gretchen Scholl, Spencer, IN; Donald & Golda Scholl, Connersville; and Paul & Peg Scholl, St. Louis, MO; and a sister Beatrice Helen Herron and seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John M. Scholl to whom she was married in 1936. He passed away in 1987. She is also preceded in death by four sisters Hazel, Betty, Rena and Ruth and a brother Gilbert. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home with Rev. William Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday.
