Born May 22, 1947, in Oil City, she was a daughter of James W. and Loretta Wilson Kahle.
She was at one time employed in the office of J.C. Penney Co. in Oil City. She was a member of Heckathorn United Methodist Church and had been active in the Juvenile Diabetic Organization. She had also been a scout den mother.
She is survived by a son, Gregory James, at home; her mother, Mrs. Loretta Kahle of Bloomington, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Younker of Bloomington, Minn.; three nephews, James, Jeffrey and Jonathan Heald of Bloomington, Minn.; and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilson of Walnut Bend.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Andrew, as well as her father. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Sunday at the Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Henley, pastor of the Heckathorn United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Heckathorn Cemetery.
