The Abilene Daily Reporter, Dec. 12, 1912, page 1 Mrs J.H. Petree Died at Potosi early today.
The Deceased was a woman highly respected and much loved. Mrs. J. H. Petree died in her home at Potosi at three o'clock this (Thursday) morning after an illness of several weeks. She was one of the most highly respected women of the community. Deceased leaves a husband and a number of children and stepchildren. It was announced that the funeral would be held at Potosi at four o"clock this afternoon. The funeral was attended by W.C. Petree and John Petree, also of this city, a brother of the Potosi man.
