Virginia Margaret Johnson Dellinger, 65, of Jonesville, MI, died Saturday evening [Sept. 17, 1988] in Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI. Although in failing health with heart trouble for about four months, her death was unexpected. Born in Lafayette, March 24, 1923, she was a long-time resident.

An employee of Vellinger's Drugstore a number of years, she was married [second] to Joseph M. Dellinger, an Alcoa executive, who survives. The Dellingers left Lafayette in 1966 and lived at Evansville, IN; Cleveland, OH; Corona, CA; and Wenatchee, WA, before Mr. Dellinger retired in 1972.

Also surviving are three stepsons, Carl Dellinger of North Haverhill, NH, James Dellinger of Frankfort, IN, and Richard Dellinger of Auburn, AL; one stepdaughter, Katherine Amos of Santa Rosa, CA; one sister, Marian (Mrs. Paul) Hatke of Lafayette; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
