Tuffy was a wonderful cat. Yes, he was a cat. Tuffy was my first pet and I loved him so. He died tragically by a hit and run driver. He was an indoor cat and one night he snuck out and that was also the night he was killed. It was just his time to go, I suppose. I saw him by the side of the road in front of our house, telling me that he must have been on his way home. Thank goodness he was not disfigured by the accident. He just looked like he was sleeping. I scooped him up after practically falling down my stairs to get to him. We had a short ceremony for him in the yard where I buried him with a picture of us when we were young. I love you Tuffy. Thank you for being in my life. Cause of death: Hit and run driver.
