John F. (Jack) Keller, 73, who was born and raised in Massilon, died suddenly of a heart ailment Friday morning at the residence of his sister, Mrs. R. E. Clementz of Cleveland.

Son of the late Reinhart and Maria Keller of this city, Keller went to Alaska wile still a young man and spent 25 years prospecting for gold. Returning to the United States he made his residence in Berkley, Cal. He moved to Cleveland about a year ago.

In addition to Mrs. Clementz he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Theresa Sprenger of Cleveland and a number of nieces and nephews in this area.

The Funeral will be held Monday at 10 a. m. at St. Thomas Aquinas church, Cleveland. Interment will be made in St. Mary's Catholic church cemetery here. The body is at the Dudley Malhon funeral home, Cleveland. The Massillon Independent, November 1, 1947

Gravesite Details

burial is probably in the Keller family plot, no marker can be found at St. Mary's Cemetery in Massillon. He did have a pre-need marker with his wife at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland CA.
