Mr. Pinkney Andrew (Pink) Whaley age 69 of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at his residence. He was born November 14, 1942, in Sevierville, TN, was a former employee of Coca Cola Bottling Company, a self-employed general contractor, and served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by parents Manley and Ida Packett Whaley, wife Linda Chaffin Whaley, sisters Ruthie Rolen, Maccle Williamson, and Ella Reagan, and brother's Ira, Rabbit, and Mead Whaley.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Paul and Krista Whaley, St. Peters, MO, daughter Amy Whaley, Jacksonville, FL, sister Loretta King, Gatlinburg, TN, and a brother Inloe Whaley, Sevierville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral service is 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Military grave rites will administered by American Legion Post 173 and V.F.W. Post 5064. The Whaley Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. Noon until 2 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
