ELKHART — Mildred D. Brenner, 96, of Elkhart, formerly of Millersburg, Mich., passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Valley View Health Care Center in Elkhart.

She was born March 28, 1915, in Millersburg, Mich., to Matthias and Myrtle (Vilburn) Robbins, both deceased. She married Charles E. Brenner on May 19, 1936, in Onaway, Mich. He passed away May 18, 1961.

Surviving are daughter Bev (Larry) Christensen of Elkhart; granddaughter Suzette (John) Hudak of Edwardsburg, Mich.; grandson Jeff (Tracy) Clark; stepgranddaughter Stacy Clementz of Elkhart; six great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson; three great-great-granddaughters; one stepgreat-great-grandson; and sisters-in-law Laurie Robbins of Onaway and Beulah Brenner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Robbins.

A graveside service will take place at a later date with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Millersburg. Memorials may be made to the Millersburg Historical Society. Arrangements have been entrusted with Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, Elkhart.
