Paul Ray Duvall, 70, of Pottsville passed away Friday, March 9th in his home on the family farm where he lived his entire life.

Paul was born November 23, 1941 in Pottsville to the late Charles Henry Duvall and Nona Ruth Burris Duvall.

He was a US Army veteran and retired Heating and Air conditioning technician. He attended the Pine Ridge Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of the VFW. He loved wood working and building things with his hands, as well as any antique car or tractor. He had no children of his own but devoted his life to spoiling his numerous nieces and nephews. He played a large hand in raising each of them and earned a special place in each of their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Frank and Janie Burris, Walter Vernon & Jenny Mae Duvall and one brother, Larry Don Duvall.

Survivors include brothers Jerry Duvall & wife Jane of Pottsville, Charles Edward Duvall & wife Judy of Greenbrier; sister, Glenda Kimball and husband Gary of Dover; sister-in-law, Christy Duvall of Pottsville, nieces, Pam Scarber, Laura Porter, Benita Drew, Tina Duvall, Ginny Reding, Gina Dixon, Amber Duvall; nephews, Bryan Duvall, Kevin Duvall, Josh Duvall, Jake Duvall, Jordan Duvall, and many great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend of over 65 years, Stanley Mathis, and friends Carolyn Murphy and Jayne Bratton.

Funeral will be 2:00 P.M, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Pine Ridge Free Will Baptist Church in Pottsville. Reverend Hank Duvall, Jim McNutt, and Terry Anthony. Burial will be at Shady Grove cemetery north of Atkins by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Duvall, Kevin Duvall, Jordan Duvall, Zachary Vaughn, Jason Drew, and Robert Dixon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Duvall Charles Edward Duvall, Gary Kimball, Stanley Mathis, Louie Howard, George Davis and Tim Scraber.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses, aids, and volunteers of Arkansas Hospice.
